Why do I want to be a photographer? I love it. I love holding the camera in my hands and framing the shot. I love being with people and capturing real moments they can hold on to for years. I love seeing my vision for a photo become a reality. I love the process of taking an image and making it art. I love knowing that I can give someone something that they will cherish. I love the challenge, the creativity, the connection.
Last night I was going through a photo shoot I did for some friends and feeling so blessed to have been able to capture some sweet moments between them. I pray that this is a ministry to them, that they can go back again and again over the years and not just see photos of themselves, but see the love that they have for one another, the tenderness, the emotion, the fun. To especially see the gift God has given them in each other…
