I want to play hookie…

August 29, 2006

I took this photo about a month ago and was playing with it again. I love her little hands.
Still no photos of baby Will. We haven’t even had the chance to go and visit yet, but we are hoping that we can very soon! He and his Mommy are supposed to be coming home from the hospital today.

I haven’t taken any new pictures in a few days now and it is bugging me. I want to practice, but I can’t do that and teach home school at the same time. I am hoping to get out today before too long if my troops will rally and get through their work. The weather is just perfect and it is so hard to sit here and watch…

Living the Moments

August 27, 2006

Life is a gift, and remembering that puts so much into perspective. It is easy to get caught up in the circumstances of here and now, good or bad and forget that we have been given such a gift just to be here in this moment! We need to live each moment in gratitude to the ONE who gave us such a precious gift and celebrate these moments we have.
I have always loved pictures. I could spend hours paging though scrapbooks and looking into the photographs – those moments in time immortalized on paper. Photographs capture those moments and preserve them for generations. I want to be a part of that, a part of the magic of making those moments last. I want people to look at my photographs and remember living those moments.

Eleanor at age 4 11/12ths

Yep, she’s all mine, attitude and all and completely bored with this photo session, but I do LOVE this picture so much. Today is her 5th birthday and we are also celebrating the birth of her newest cousin William Henry (hopefully we can post pictures of him very soon!
